Hi everyone, I have a cross stitch finish and news about my new Etsy shop.
I have lots of photos below of my Summer project finish and I have completed the Winter pattern from the 2016/2017 freebie set of patterns here, but first news of my Etsy shop plans.
Etsy shop news
Stitching Fairy Crafts at Etsy here
I have had quite a few requests asking if I intend to sell some of my project bags, these requests came at the right time for me as I had just started to plan what I was going to offer up for sale in my new Etsy shop. I have never offered any of my stitched items for sale because I usually offered them as gifts in giveaways on my blog but I have now decided to make some project bags and notions pouches and offer some of my cross stitch items for sale.
I currently have a small autumn pillow for sale, I am sure you have seen it before as it is stitched using one of my free patterns.
I intend to make some project bags out of Tilda fabric and offer them for sale in my shop, when they are ready I will announce on my blog the time of the shop update for those bags so that my readers get first choice of what is on offer.
Look out for the following items for sale, hopefully they will be in my shop within the week.
Embroidery scissors - I will be using these myself so that I can review them first.
Clover Thread Cutters - I already have one of these for use in my cross stitching and I love it!
Shawl pins for knitted shawls Lovely wood shawl pins
I have one set of Knit Pro Zing interchangeable circular knitting needles on order which will be arriving soon.
And last but not least my digital cross stitch patterns.
Summer cross stitch finish
I have recently been inspired by floss tube, watching all of the wonderful stitching is truly an inspiration. I decided to search around in my craft room to look for some unfinished projects that I knew were begging to be finished, I found Summer and was surprised to see I only had a little back stitch to do to complete it, so here it is!
If I were to stitch this again I would choose a grey colour as shown on the pattern, I chose this over the internet and really it was too pale as it did not make the colours pop, but I am pleased with it.
I am pretty sure I have another design in this series, it is called Welcome and is really pretty, I think it maybe my new start over the next few weeks.
I managed to stitch Winter in my free seasons 2016/2017 patterns, I hope you like them!
The next time I design a seasons set of patterns I am going to design them altogether because even I got confused where each pattern was on my blog! Lol......
Until next time, happy stitching!
